About the Author
Rebecca is a human rights worker and advocate in Chicago, IL. She has a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (Indianapolis, Indiana.) Her thematic concentrations were South American Politics and Women's Studies. Her research included two research trips to Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile preceded by a study abroad term in Spain. This website is the product of two years worth of research for independent studies courses and the undergraduate research opportunity grant. Rebecca continues to maintain the site and endeavors to learn more about this period of history.
